If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you are not able to receive any treatments until after you have given birth or completed breastfeeding.

The amount of product needed varies from person to person, depending on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, and aesthetic preferences. you will be able to discuss this with your provider at the time of your consultation.

Most people see initial results within 4-10 days, however the full effect will not be seen until 14 days. We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks before booking a touch-up if needed.

First, we suggest you avoid taking any blood thinners (such as Ibuprofen, aspirin, omega 3, fish oil) for 5 days prior to your appointment. Alcohol is also blood thinner, so if you are worried about bruising, try to refrain from consuming three days prior to your treatment. Some natural remedies are shown to help reduce bruising, like arnica and bromelain, which you can find at most health food stores. Take these for 2 days before and after treatment.

Neuromodulators (botox/dysport) generally last three to four months, whereas dermal fillers can last four to eighteen months. This all varies from person to person and depends on the area that is injected.

Prior to treatment:
Three days prior to treatment, avoid all blood thinners including alcoholic beverages, advil, aspirin, aleve, omega 3, fish oil, vitamin e, ginkgo, st. john’s wort, or garlic to avoid bruising.
Do not use botox or dysport if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or allergic to any of its ingredients. no not use botox or dysport if you suffer from any neurological disorders such as guillain-barre or myasthenia gravis.
Day of treatment:
Do not lay down for 4-6 hours after treatment to avoid migration of botox or dysport.
Avoid placing excessive pressure on the treated area for the remainder of the day. when cleansing your face or applying makeup, be very gentle.
Avoid exercise, or extreme temperatures for the remainder of treatment day.
You may continue animating as normal.
Redness and slight swelling is normal, and some bruising may be visible. You may experience some tenderness or a stinging sensation at the treatment sites that can last for a few minutes or up to a few days. Clients can occasionally experience headaches 1-2 days after treatment.
Follow up:
Your botox will start to take effect in 2-3 days and full results will be seen in 2 weeks.
If there is any asymmetry or “spocking” at day 14, book a follow up appointment for a touch up.

PRIOR TO TREATMENT
Three days prior to treatment, avoid all blood thinners including alcoholic beverages, advil, aspirin, aleve, omega 3, fish oil, vitamin e, ginkgo, st. john’s wort, or garlic to avoid bruising.
AFTER TREATMENT
DAY ONE: ice the area for ten minutes on and ten minutes off to decrease swelling and potential bruising. Avoid all blood thinners mentioned above including alcohol for at least 24 hours to decrease chances of bruising further and increase healing, drink plenty of water and use topical or oral arnica tylenol can help decrease pain without causing additional bleeding or bruising medications such as benadryl, claritin, or reactine can help to decrease major swelling or the potential for sensitivities to the product. Avoid touching, manipulating, or direct pressure to injection sites for 3 days. Avoid makeup, exercise, extreme temperatures for 1 day. Sleep on back x2 weeks
DAY TWO: continue to ice area. you may now resume normal activity and wear makeup
DAY THREE: apply warm compress to help speed up your healing and minimize bruising. Start to massage lips if any bumps or nodules are felt.
